Orientation and Church Service

After a quick lunch we headed out to Hope Church for orientation and the evening service. Pastor Raul got to know each of us and we got to know the people of Hope! We learned what we'll be doing this week and what Pastor Raul had planned for tonight - our group leading the church service! Some of us sang, some shared their testimony, and DRob preached!  Now, we're enjoying dinner and then it's off to bed!

Sunday Morning

Breakfast and Devotions - DRob let us sleep in! We got to sleep from 4 AM to 10 AM, and woke to cereal, yogurt, & sausage! Tonk led us in some songs and DRob brought us into Titus 3, reminding us to live out the gospel today. 

3:08 AM

The journey was a long one but we endured! It's 3 AM and we are at the Mission House. It's dark outside, and quiet. We try our best to quietly settle in, all tired from the drive but excited to do ministry! We will sleep for a few hours and then start our orientation with our guide Colby. We'll have time to unpack and refocus before attending church at 5 PM.  Tired but in a good way!

11:16 p.m.  We made it!! Thanks for all of your prayers! Both flights were pretty uneventful, thankfully! And now we're off to the church!
